Bappi Lahiri’s son Bappa flew down from Los Angeles to be with his father after he tested positive for Covid-19. The music director is in ICU.
After a list of Bollywood celebrities getting positive for Covid-19, veteran singer and music director Bappi Lahiri has been tested positive and is currently hospitalised. Lahiri's spokesperson confirmed the news that Bappi is being tested positive for the virus and has been hospitalised.
According to reports, Lahiri is now in ICU. His son Bappa, who is pursuing a musical career in Los Angeles, is back in Mumbai to look after his father.
Unfortunately, he is not able to meet his father, Bappida, given the Covid situation.
Talking to a popular Bollywood journalist, Subhash K Jha, Bappa says, his father is stable now and still in ICU. He had a mild Covid-19 infection on Wednesday, and the reason for concern is, he already has a pulmonary condition.
Bappa also added that the family can not meet the musician, but under Dr Udwadia’s supervision in Breach Candy hospital.
