Shah Rukh Khan's 23-years old son Aryan Khan bail plea in the drugs seizure case was rejected by the Mumbai Magistrate court on October 08. Aryan was detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the alleged seizure of drugs on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast over the last weekend. Now, Aryan Khan and seven other accused in the case were remanded to 14-day judicial custody and reportedly, they have to remain in Arthur Road jail over the weekend.

Salman Khan had also gone to the same jail in 2015 when the Mumbai Sessions Court had delivered a 5-year sentence to the star  in his 2002 hit-and-run case. Salman had to surrender and was taken to Arthur Road jail.

Sanjay Dutt was in a high-security block connected to the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case at the Arthur Road jail. It was said that his cell shape was of the form of an egg. Later, Sanjay was shifted to Pune’s Yerawada jail, where he completed his sentence.

Vindu Dara Singh had to spend 14 days in Arthur Road jail for his alleged association in the IPL fixing scandal in 2013. He was last seen in Bigg Boss 14 house as a supporter of contestant Rakhi Sawant.

Shipla Shetty's husband Raj Kundra was locked up in Arthur Road Jail for two months after being accused in the pornography racket case. Later the businessman, Raj Kundra was granted bail by Mumbai court.

Late actor Inder Kumar spent 45 days in Arthur Road Jail for allegedly raping a model in 2014. In 2017, Inder passed away due to cardiac arrest.
