Sidhartha Mallya, also known as the son of the famous business tycoon Vijay Mallya, said that Deepika Padukone is an inspiration to him as she is also working on mental health awareness.

In an interview with TOI, Sidhartha shared his thoughts about his on Deepika Padukone, and he said she is doing fantastic work with her foundation, which give mental health awareness and help people dealing with it.

People like Deepika use their platforms to promote and talk about mental health is very inspiring, Sid added. Sidhartha also said that through books, celebs or teachers, this problem should be discussed for the betterment of everyone.

Sidhartha also revealed in the same interview how the charges levied on his father, Vijay, had broken his heart. It was said that long back, Deepika Padukone and Sidhartha Mallya were reportedly in a relationship for quite some time. The actress was also seen at many Kingfisher's parties and IPL matches where she was seen supporting RCB. 

In 2011, during an IPL match, Sidhartha was caught kissing Deepika in a packed stadium. Long back post their break-up, In an interview, Sidhartha had called Deepika crazy. Sidhartha had said that, he used to gift her many expensive things like diamonds, luxurious bags, also spent on her vacations and hosted parties for her friends.
