Sunil Narine, Nandita Kumar welcome their first child

Sunil Narine is a renowned spinner for Windies and is generally termed as the mystery spinner, for his unpredictable spin. He has made a name for himself playing for Kolkata Knight Riders, in the Indian Premier League. He has been married to Nandita Kumar since 2013.

Besides his success in the cricketing department, he has also scored a hit in his personal life. He, along with his wife Nandita Kumar (Anjellia), has welcomed his first child.

Narine took to his Instagram handle to share the first picture of his new-born son. He captioned it, “You fill a place in our heart that we never knew was empty; we have seen all of God’s goodness and grace in one tiny face. We love you unconditionally - Dad & Mom”.

Narine had tied the knot with Anjellia in 2013, as they have welcomed their first child seven years since. Meanwhile, the couple is yet to reveal the name of their boy.

Narine is currently playing in the Abu Dhabi T10 league, where he is featuring for Deccan Gladiators. So far, he has played four games and claimed five wickets at an economy of 10.00, as he is currently the second-highest wicket-taker for his side.

Narine jas been retained by KKR for IPL 2021, where he has had immense success with the franchise, claiming 127 wickets in 119 innings at an economy of 6.78, including a five-for. He also tends to open the batting occasionally and has scored 892 runs in 66 innings, at an average of 16.83 and has a strike-rate of 164.27, including four half-centuries.

For the Windies, he has claimed over 160 international wickets in over 100 matches. He plays for Trinidad and Tobago in the domestic circuit, while he also played from Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League.
