Ravichandran Ashwin hails fantastic Drishyam 2, terms it a must watch

Ravichandran Ashwin is a renowned all-rounder for Team India, mostly known for his prolific spin bowling. He is currently playing Tests against England in India. He is also known to be a movie buff, as she has hailed the recently-released Malayalam movie, Drishyam 2.

Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin is having a great time on the field in all departments. As he is facing England in the ongoing four-Test series for the Anthony de Mello Trophy, Ashwin has been a pain for the Englishmen, especially with his deadly off-spins.

However, considering Ashwin outside the cricket field, he is known to be a fun-loving person. In several instances, he has also identified himself as a movie buff and fondly watches South Indian and Bollywood movies.

Recently, he happened to have watched the just-released Malayalam movie, Drishyam 2, on Amazon Prime Video. The sequel to the 2013 film has gained widespread acclaim from critics all over India, while Ashwin, too, gave his vote of approval.

Ashwin sent out a tweet on the same, that read, "I laughed out loud when George Kutty @Mohanlal created that twist in the court #Drishyam2 . If you guys dint, please start all over again from #Drishyam1. Fabulous!! Just fabulous."

Once the teaser was launched last month, fans were excited about its release, as both the teaser and trailer looked promising. Upon the movie's final release, it has received an overwhelming response from fans on the overall movie plot, alongside the actors.

While Jeethu Joseph and Meena were applauded for their comical acting, Mohanlal just nailed it. Although sequels do not usually attract the same acclaim, fans and critics are stating that this is the best movie sequel that has ever been made.
