KKR managed to win with 60 balls to spare. While it was its best margin of win in terms of balls to spare in the tournament, it's the sixth-best overall. The best is 87 for Mumbai Indians against KKR in 2008.

Winning the toss, Kohli elected to bat first. But, the decision turned out to be nightmarish, as spinner Varun Chakravarthy and Russell wreaked havoc, claiming three wickets each while restricting RCB to 92. In reply, it was an easy ride for KKR, with the openers getting the job done.
