Indian all-rounder, Hardik Pandya has established himself as the side's one of the most pre-eminent all-rounders, across formats. Known for his explosive batting abilities, he is also a decent pace bowler.

India is taking on England in the opening Test for the Anthony de Mello Trophy at the MA Chidambaram (Chepauk) Stadium in Chennai. Pandya has missed out on making it to the playing XI, owing to the slow conditions, making him not precisely suitable for the sportive combination.
Nonetheless, it has not prompted Pandya to sit idle as he continues to focus on his fitness. In a recent picture he shared on his Instagram handle, he was seen running it out, along with Team India's Strength and Conditioning Coach, Soham Desai, before the start on Day 3's play, while he captioned it, "Grinding it out 🤞🏾👏🇮🇳👏🏾".

Before the Test's start, he was seen getting involved in Team India's intense training session. He has been seen jogging and running regularly.

Pandya has also been working on his batting skills more prominently, as he has not yet resumed bowling full-time. He is giving his just-recovered back ample time to recover.
