2021 Jeep Compass unveiled, bookings begin January-end

The 2021 Jeep Compass has been unveiled in India with significant refinements when compared to the outgoing model.
A 2021 compass features a new bumper with a updated seven-slat grille with honeycomb-like inserts and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The SUV is powered in two variants -- a 173hp, 2.0-litre diesel and a 163hp, 1.4-litre petrol engine -- with a six-speed manual as standard.
The Compass petrol has a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic while the diesel has a nine-speed torque converter auto option.
The 2021 Jeep Compass comes packed with safety features like seven-airbags, antilock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution and electronic stability program.
Besides, you also get auto headlamps and wipers, hill brake assist, terrain select modes, panic break assist, and also hill descent control.
The 2021 Jeep Compass is also equipped with features like a voice assistant, 360-degree parking camera and a dedicated smartphone application which assists you to track the whereabouts of your vehicle.
The 2021 Jeep compass comes with a new instrument cluster that boasts of a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Jeep will unveil the price of the 2021 Compass by early-February. But industry sources say that the SUV could come in the range of Rs 16.49 lakh to Rs 27.6 lakh. Official pre-launch bookings will begin in the last week of January
And when it does hit the road, the 2021 Jeep compass will take on the likes of the Hyundai Tucson and the Skoda Karoq.
