Why Anjali Menon asked Parvathy to act in 'Koode' instead of assisting her in direction?

As Sarah in Anjali Menon’s directorial venture ‘Bangalore Days’, actress Parvathy delivered one of her career-best performances. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress in ‘Bangalore Days’. Now, the talented couple is joining hands for another project. Anjali Menon’s latest Malayalam film ‘Koode’ starring Parvathy along with Prithviraj and Nazriya is now on the roll.
 
For the promotion of the movie, Parvathy has revealed in a Facebook video that she wanted to assist Anjali in the direction of ‘Koode’. This video is going viral on social media.

But, Anjali asked her to act her role in the film instead. Parvathy also revealed how she first met Anjali Menon. “I used to follow Anjali after watching her movie ‘Manjadikkuru’. I wanted to tell her that I wish to meet her and work with her," she said.

 "Thus I met her at an airport and introduced myself as the person who used to send emails to her frequently. The moment I told her so, she said ‘we were talking about you yesterday’. That’s how ‘Bangalore Days’ happened. I’m thankful to God for that fantastic project," she continued.

Parvathy said that when it is Anjali, she never even feels like asking for the screenplay. It is like she would play the role Anjali gives her. She knows that she will study a lot during the process.
