  • Oscar 2017 award ceremony will begin from 7 am (8:30 pm EST) and red carpet starts at 4 am (5:30 pm EST).

There is also a repeat telecast at 9 pm for those who would love to see the winners collect their Oscars but would love to skip the red carpet shenanigans.

 

 

This year, the show will be hosted by the late night show host, Jimmy Kimmel. The awards will be presented by Hollywood actors Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, Leonardo Di Caprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson and Dakota Johnson. 

 

A singer like John Legend will be performing the popular numbers Audition (The Fools Who Dream) and City of Stars from the movie La La Land. Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sting and Justin Timberlake are set to perform. 

 

 

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is going to make an appearance, and will hopefully make her way into the best dressed at the Oscars red carpet like last year. Last year she was seen in a sheer Zuhair Murad gown.
