FollowThe much-awaited celebrity wedding of the year was between two Telugu superstars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya which took place in the first week of October. The couple on October 6 tied the knot in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony, which was held in picturesque Goa at W resort. The couple had their Christian wedding also at the beachside.
Samantha, who is quite active on social media, has shared several pictures from their two wedding ceremonies. However, since last week a video from Sam and Chay's church wedding was going viral, which was shared by a fan club.
In the video, we hear Samantha reciting her wedding vows as Naga Chaitanya smiled all through. Samantha broke down towards the end of her vows, a part of which was: "… Like how all arguments will be resolved without a change of tone and how I’m never allowed to get away with anything but crying. But because of you I can feel myself slowly and surely becoming what I have always dreamt of being. You are the greatest man I have ever known and I know that one day you will be a perfect father to our beautiful child. I’ll choose you in a hundred lives and hundred worlds and in any reality. I choose you,” Samantha tells an overjoyed Chaitanya.

Just a few days after the wedding, Sam changed her last name from 'Ruth Prabhu' to 'Akkineni' on all social media platforms. In an interview with a leading newspaper, the actress said, "I know I am Akkineni Samantha from now onwards and I have to live up to the family's legacy and reputation."
Sam's latest film Raju Gaari Gadhi 2, released a few days after her wedding and is running successfully in theatres. The film also stars her father-in-law Nagarjuna Akkineni.
