In an interview with DNA, Vivek said, "Yes, I am doing my first Kollywood film. People are not sure about my role, whether I play the protagonist or the antagonist. My role is a very powerful parallel role. I admired Ajith Kumar’s work, and I was blown by his performance in Vedalam. I was humbled by director Siva as he called me and said that he created the title ‘Vivegam’ (my name in Tamil) only because he wanted me in the film, I was humbled.”
According to reports, Vivek is playing the role of an antagonist in Vivegam, but it’s interesting to know that he might have various sides to him in the movie. The first look of the poster had gone viral when it was posted by the filmmakers. The movie has grabbed headlines every time they put out teaser or posters.
The teaser of the film crossed over 5 million views in less than 24 hours. The filmmakers are not revealing anything about most of the characters in the film. By looking at the visual, we can say the film promises us high-octane action sequences.
The movie has been shot in international locations like Bulgaria. For the movie, Ajith has gone through a mind-blowing physical transformation. The movie also has Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan in the lead roles.
