Vivah star Yusuf Hussain passes away; Abhishek Bachchan, Hansal Mehta pen emotional note

Vivah actor Yusuf Hussain known for movies like Dhoom 2, Raees and Road to Sangam, passed away today at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital due to coronavirus. The actor was 73. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta who is Yusuf's son-in-law had taken to his Twitter handle to write an emotional note for his father-in-law. He recalled Yusuf helping him with finances post his debut movie Shahid was stuck even after two schedules.
"I was troubled. A non-existent career as a filmmaker was almost finished completely. He just came up to me and said I have a fixed deposit and it is of no use to me if you are so troubled. He wrote a cheque. 'Shahid' was completed. That was Yusuf Husain. "Not my father-in-law but a father. He was life if life itself had to have a physical form. Today he is gone," read Hansal's note.
Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan also took to his Twitter handle to offer his condolences to the family of the late actor. "We worked together in several films starting with 'Kuch Na Kaho' and lastly on 'Bob Biswas'. He was gentle, kind and full of warmth. Condolences to his family", read his tweet.
Mehta's good friend Manoj Bajpayee had expressed his grief on social media. " Sad News! Condolences to @safeenahusain @mehtahansal and the entire family! Rest in peace Yusuf saab", read his tweet.
Actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt had written that Mehta's post about his father-in-law had got tears in her eyes. "Can’t begin to imagine what you’ll are feeling. My deepest condolences to all", read a part of her tweet. To talk about Yusuf, he has also been a part of movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Raaz, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Khakhee, MG, Krrish 3,Vishwaroopam 2, Dabangg 3 and Darbar.
