Meadow Walker announced the news on October 23 with a black and white video from her seaside wedding, captioned "we're married!!!!" The video also includes some touching moments from the ceremony between Vin's children and Jordana Brewster, who portrayed Mia Toretto in Fast & Furious. In the video, Jordana can also be seen hugging Meadow.

On November 30, 2013, Walker died at the age of 40, in a vehicle accident while filming Furious 7, causing shock and mourning throughout Hollywood. He portrayed Brian O'Conner, one of the franchise's three primary heroes.
Furious 7, directed by James Wan, was released posthumously in 2015. Walker appeared in six Fast & Furious films in all. The film studio behind Fast & Furious, Universal, launched a documentary titled I Am Paul Walker, which detailed his life and career.
