Mahesh Babu, after signing for the Telugu film Sarileru Neekevuru, expressed his desire to work with Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay, but put the ball on the director’s court
Prince Mahesh Babu, who is a superstar in the Telugu film industry, is a sought-after man with actors of other languages finding success in films that are remade for those starring the former. Cases in example are heroes like Thalapathy Vijay of Kollywood and Salman Khan of Bollywood.
Now, the Telugu prince has revealed his interest to act with Bigil star Vijay.
In an interview to A Tamil website during promotions of his film Sarileru Neekevuru in January, Mahesh Babu had revealed that he was super excited to see his Pokkiri film being remade in Tamil, which brought a lot of success to Vijay. And the remake in Hindi, starring Salman Khan, was a super hit too.
Now, Mahesh Babu wants to share screen space with Vijay as he has fond memories of Chennai. The actor was in Chennai till 1999. He was educated in Chennai.
"It feels great to see my films getting remade starring Vijay. I also want to act with him. It all depends on the director who would sign us for the project," said Babu in the interview.
In his career, Babu may have acted in less number of films, but most of his films are blockbusters. His Okkadu, a sport action drama, was a runaway hit in 2004. Going by
