Taapsee Pannu's Rashmi Rocket to stream on OTT, film will release on this date; read deets

Taapsee Pannu should get an entertainer of the year award for entertaining us throughout the lockdown with her stellar performances. The actress was last seen in Haseen Dillruba and wowed many with her amazing craft.

Now the actress will be next seen in one of her most awaited films, Rashmi Rocket. The film will be streaming this Dussehra, October 15. The movie will stream on ZEE5 and is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP & Mango People Media. Rashmi Rocket is a story of a young girl who hails from a small village but is blessed with a tremendous gift. It is directed by Akarsh Khurana, is based on an original story by Nanda Periyasamy.

The poster gives viewers a quick glimpse of the adrenaline-packed narrative in-store, while Pannu looks perfect in her role in the film's first poster. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandhdiya, Rashmi Rocket is written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha and Kanika Dhillon and also stars Supriya Pathak, Abhishek Banerjee, Priyanshu Painyuli and Supriya Pilgaonkar.

The story is about a girl who makes her way in this male-dominated arena. Taapsee Pannu feels that this film is extraordinary. She has experienced a feeling like never before after doing this film. She is incredibly proud of the film and cannot wait for the audience to see it.

Director Akarsh Khurana believes that he has always been fond of courtroom dramas, mature romances, and sports films. As a storyteller, he has always been drawn to characters on journeys. This film allowed him to bring something new to the table of cinema. Rashmi Rocket is releasing on ZEE5 on October 15.
