Raai Laxmi sizzles in a new avatar as Julie

Laxmi had reportedly shed 10 kgs to sport a bikini in the movie Julie 2. Julie 2 will also release in Tamil, Kannada and Telugu

Mollywood actress Raai Laxmi turns on the heat as she poses in a bikini for her upcoming Bollywood film Julie 2.

Laxmi uploaded the sizzling picture on her Twitter handle after fans requested her for a glimpse of her look in the movie. It’s the sequel to ‎Neha Dhupia's Julie, directed by Deepak Shivdasani. Julie 2 will also release in Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. However first time Julie film was shot and screened in Bollywood was in 1975, starring South Indian actress Lakshmi.

She wrote this before revealing the bikini picture., “Alright guys on a special request by fans asking for a #julie2 pic I shall fulfil ur wish by uploading 1 of the pics today #raai50thspecial,”

Laxmi had reportedly shed 10 kgs to sport a bikini in the movie.

In an interview with Times of India, Laxmi said “For the third schedule of the film, I had to lose weight again. I took a break for about two months, and lost around 10 kilos. This portion requires me to be seen in a more glam avatar, sporting a bikini et all. These scenes will be shot in Dubai. We will also shoot few crucial scenes in Rajasthan, later.”

Raai Laxmi had made her Bollywood acting debut with a guest appearance in last year's Sonakshi Sinha-starrer Akira, directed by A R Murugadoss.
