'Pulimurugan' leaked from Kochi multiplex?

- A month later pirated copies of the film started appearing on the internet.
When pirated version of multicrore Malayalam movie 'Pulimurugan' started doing rounds on the internet it came as a big jolt to the makers of the film and movie buffs. Now, it is reported that the movie was leaked from a multiplex.
The forensic examination of the prints revealed that the 100-crore club movie was allegedly leaked from Kochi-based 'Cinepolis'.
In the wake of fresh development, the Kerala Film Distributors Association has decided to blacklist Cinepolis.
A few days back, following a complaint from Tomichan Mulakupadam, the producer of multi-crore movie 'Pulimurugan' the anti-piracy cell of Kerala police department had a launched a massive crackdown against piracy gangs.
During the probe, five people were detained from Malappuram and Palakkad districts. Investigators had also arrested three men from 'Tamilrockers', a gang having links with international piracy racket.
