Pokkiriraja sequel: Mammootty to act in Raja 2
Mammootty will be starring in the second part and it is titled Raja 2. The movie’s shooting will commence in August.
FollowMammootty and Prithviraj acted in the movie Pokkiriraja which was released in 2010. The sequel of this is getting ready.

As per reports, Prithviraj would not be a part of the film and Mammootty will have two heroines. Vaishak will direct this movie too.
The producers had announced last year that there will be a second part to Pokkiriraja. Recently, Udayakrishnan completed the script of the movie. According to reports, the movie will be an action-filled family entertainer.
Raja 2 won't be a continuation of its first part but it will give importance to the character which Mammootty is playing. Other than Mammootty another youth star will also be cast in the movie. The pre-production work of the movie is under way.
Mammootty has signed to essay roles in second parts of movies - Big B and Kottayam Kunjachan. However, prior to those two, he will start working in Raja 2.
