Lockdown special: Rowdy Baby clocks 800 million views on YouTube since its release in 2018
Tamil chartbuster Rowdy Baby from Dhanush starrer Maari 2 reached another milestone as the song on YouTube platform clocked 800 million views. Actress Sai Pallavi and female singer Dhee will be more than happy as this song has been the turning point in their respective careers.
FollowTamil movie Maari 2 seems to have done a great favour for a number of artistes who wished to establish themselves in the Kollywood industry. And the song Rowdy Baby served as a perfect platform for actress Sai Pallavi to become one of the preferred actresses for directors. Australian-Indian Dheekshitha Venkadeshan, also known as Dhee, became a sought-after singer.
The singer, who is just 21 years old, can take pride as her song has crossed 800 million views on YouTube since its release in November 2018.
The song now remains one of biggest hits on the YouTube platform and it turns out to be the only Tamil and Indian video to be viewed highest number of times.
This is also one of the biggest chartbusters for music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has now composed music for over 100 films.
Singer Dhee and actor Dhanush also recorded the same number for Telugu audience, which too became an instant hit.
Dhee’s mesmerising voice and Dhanush’s charming antics, couple with Sai Pallavi’s grace are the talking points in this song.
Going by its search on Google and YouTube, there is no doubt that the song will touch 1000 million-mark shortly.
