Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was in Bengaluru to inaugurate the tenth edition of Bengaluru International Film Festival, which kick-started on the grand stairs of Vidhana Soudha on Thursday, February 23.

Kareena Kapoor revealed that she'd love to star in a Kannada movie someday, despite not knowing the language. Kareena said, "I don't know the language (Kannada), but I hope someday I will entertain in Sandalwood."

She also added, Cinema is the coming together of people, which has no language, religion, and regional boundaries. Cinema is in my blood. It is my passion and it is food for the soul for me."

Kareena further said, "Bengaluru will always be very special to our family and to the Kapoor legacy. It is not because I am here but for my grandfather's love for Karnataka, especially Mysuru."

In the event, Kareena showed her desi style by donning a black saree by Raw Mango with an orange border and a pink and orange fall towards the end. This was one of those unique occasions when Bebo was seen wearing a bindi. Kareena tied her hair back in a simple bun and wore minimal accessories.
