FollowGautham Vasudev Menon is all set to make the sequel of Ye Maya Chesave/ Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa which made Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu fall in love. This was their first movie together.
The sequel will be made in four languages- Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu. The lead role by Puneeth Rajkumar, Madhavan, Tovino Thomas. But interestingly, the lead actor from Telugu has not been fixed yet.
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha who played the lead pair in the first part of the Ye Maya Chesave are a happily married couple in real life. In eight years Samatha has grown to be one of the top heroines in Tollywood as well as Kollywood.
Will the couple be asked to play the lead role in the sequel too? Will the newly married couple oblige?
Looking at the fact that even in Tamil, where Simbu and Trisha had played the major roles, Madhavan has been roped in, a new star might be roped in for Telugu too.
Meanwhile, reports state that AR Rehman, who scored the music for ye Maya Chesave will compose music for the sequel too.
Giving a hint about the story line, the director has revealed that the story starts from the fact that Karthik becomes a successful director following his film Jessie, which he makes after losing his love of life. In the sequel, a friend's wedding unites him with his friends apart from his friends from the filmdom. The film proceeds with an emotional journey of the four friends (from four southern states) going on a road trip. What twists and turns they and their fate meets is the crux of the sequel.
