Popular television actor Rohit Roy will be making his Sandalwood debut soon. The actor confirmed the news when he posted on Instagram

Mumbai: Rohit Roy has been around in films and television industry for a long time. The actor is well known for his role in films like Kaabil, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Calendar Girls, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena and many more. Rohit has primarily worked in the television industry and has carved a niche for himself and is quite popular for the same.

Whoever has said that there’s no stopping to learning has definitely said the right thing. That’s why after so many years of experience, Rohit will be making his Kannada film debut.

Rohit shared the same on social media and has captioned it stating that he surely feels like he is in the 12th standard.

The actor on his Instagram wrote – “Off to Bangalore for my debut Kannada feature!!! I can’t believe at this age I’m still debuting in things. I don’t think I have been this nervous since my 12th standard board exams !!! Wish me luck”

 

The television actor is best known for his roles in Hindi television serials such as Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand and Swabhimaan. Roy has also directed a short film named Rice Plate – as a part of the anthology film Dus Kahaniyaan.

Rohit Roy will be next seen in Mumbai Saga which will hit theatres in 2020. It is an action crime film directed by Sanjay Gupta and bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Anuradha Gupta and Sangeetha Ahir. The movie has ensemble of Emraan Hashmi, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Jackie Shroff, Pankaj Tripathi, Samir Soni and Amole Gupte and is a gangster drama set in the eighties and the nineties.

On the personal front, Roy is married to Manasi Joshi Roy and they have a daughter named Kiara.
