While the entire nation is going gaga over Baby ko bass pasand hai - a peppy number from Sultan, the background score will definitely steal the show if you pay close attention to it and if you are a Game of Thrones fan.
Now tell me that doesn’t it sound like the GoT theme music, I dare you!
So, we decided to contact Julius Packiam who composed the background score for the film. And guess what ? He is a huge Game of Thrones fan!
“I kind of liked that tune; I would admit out rightly that I haven’t tried to rip it off completely. It is a completely different tune. But to an extent it is inspired from Game of Throne’s theme music,” Julius told Asianet Newsable.
So the Sultan background score isn’t a complete rip-off, merely 'inspired'. Packiam’s composition has added a classical guitar to the symphony and it sounds dreamy.
