Did Gauri Khan ask Shah Rukh to quit acting?

Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan recently hosted an event at her designer studio where she praised Shahrukh's designing skills. It was an event for architects and interior designers. Shah Rukh surprised his wife by showing up at the event.

 
While interacting with media personnel, Gauri answered many questions patiently and casually. She also stated that she wants a sequel for the hit movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
 
During the interaction she also commented on Shah Rukh's designing skills.
 
The highlight of the interaction came in the form of joke surrounding the fact that there have been no announcements about Shah Rukh's next projects. She said, "As Shah Rukh is not doing any movie right now, I will tell him to keep his second option as a designer in the future because he is a great designer. Many things at our house is suggested by him."

 
Shah Rukh was last seen in the Anand L Rai's Zero in 2018.
Though no new projects have been announced many rumours about his next project is doing the rounds in Bollywood. Rumour is rife that the actor will star in director Atlee's next film. There are also rumours about him acting in Raj Kumar Hirani's next flick. He is also expected to team up with Karan Johar. But nothing has been confirmed yet.
Although he is doing a cameo in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's 'Brahmastra'.
As of now Shahrukh is producing two Netflix projects. But fans cannot wait to see Shah Rukh on the big screen again.
