Watch: Dhanush reacting when asked about Suchi leaks and more

Dhanush is busy promoting his upcoming film VIP 2, the sequel to the 2014 hit movie Velaiilla Pattadhari. Recently Dhanush and his team were in Hyderabad for promotions. One of his interviews with a Telugu channel, TV9 went awry when the TV reporter decided to ask him about Suchi leaks and how it effected his family. 

In the process, Dhanush gets angry and said: “He was asked about the Suchi leaks controversy and the mental agony he had to go through, to which the actor questioned her back saying ‘Who said I went through mental agony” Things took a turn for the worse when she asked the actor if his family life was at stake. In response, the actor got up and walked out not without saying ‘This is a stupid interview.'

Later, the actor continued the interview, and the anchor too only asked questions related to his upcoming film Velai Illa Pattadhari 2 (VIP 2). 

Earlier while answering a question regarding Tollywood’s alleged involvement in the recent drug scandal, Dhanush gave a warning to the interviewer saying he thought he could only talk about his films and not on other issues. 

It was rather the first time, the Kodi actor was asked questions about the controversy in an interview. A series of controversial posts, pictures and videos that allegedly ha the star were leaked on RJ Suchitra's social media account had cast a cloud over some of biggest names in Tamil cinema. Dhanush was also embroiled in a legal battle, after an elderly couple in Tamil Nadu alleged that they were the real parents of the actor.

Regarding the postponement of VIP 2 from July 28, Dhanush said that the film is a proper Tamil-Telugu bilingual, which also has been dubbed in Hindi, so they pushed to get a suitable release in all the three languages.
