Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Police arrested Malayalam reality show Bigg Boss contestant Rajith Kumar for flouting Kerala government's coronavirus advisory.

Why Rajith got arrested: 
A large number of people arrived at Cochin International Airport on Sunday night to receive Rajith.

This comes at a time when the Kerala government had asked citizens to not assemble as a precautionary measure against the spread of deadly coronavirus.

Nedumbassery Police registered a case against 75 persons, including Rajith Kumar, for unlawful assembly, rioting and flouting the high court order prohibiting procession within a radius of 500m from the airport.  

 Rajith Kumar's eviction: 
His eviction from Bigg Boss Malayalam 2 has attracted a barrage of negative comments with many calling the show biased, and slamming Mohanlal and the channel for evicting Rajith Kumar from the show.
