The movie revolves around an agent code-named Bell Bottom that embarks on a mission to free 210 hostages held by hijackers.

The thrilling spy drama will keep you glued to the seat with Akshay Kumar stealing the show each time he delivers a dialogue. Kumar plays a Research Analysis Wing (RAW) undercover agent in the film who goes by the code name of Bell Bottom in a quest to free 210 hostages.

The film centres around many sensitive topics that will run a chill down your spine. The movie will wrap you in a blanket of complex human emotions while making you scream out loud the feeling of being a true patriot.

The film centres around the daring mission of Akshay Kumar to rescue the hostages while neutralising four hijackers. The fact of the operations also draws a connection with a personal tragedy that makes the audience connect it more soulfully.

 

Many of Kumar's films are inspired by actual incidents. A Ranjish Tiwari directorial is also based on a real-life event in the late '70s and early '80s. 

The movie was shot during the pandemic, but the picturisation, the composition, props and the background score of the film will make you believe that you are not in the present time but riding a vintage vehicle that gives a ride into the old town.

Kumar makes a mind-blowing entry as Bell Bottom that will remind you of all the smashing Kumar's entries in the past. The actor, yet again, has proven exceptionally well in his craft. Akshay Kumar, yet again, will blow your head as he brings the true patriotic spirit to the table of cinema.  Kumar is slim, fit and sporty in his role. He plays the husband to Vaani Kapoor in the movie and has fluency in multiple languages.

As Kumar's wife in the film, Vani is a breather; she has ideally used her beauty and talent to bring a soft spot in this intense drama. The film also stars Adil Hussain, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles. The film had already created a buzz on the internet ever since the look of the film was released. Fans were eagerly waiting for this espionage film to release to treat themselves to the classic Kumar film.

Lara Dutta as the Prime Miniter Indira Gandhi, looks unrecognisable. Her acting, presence and body language sight a perfect resemblance with late Indira Gandhi. Each actor has put a hundred per cent effort on the screen to bring each character alive. On the other hand, Huma Qureshi appears to help the Indian team out they rescue the hijacked plane.  

The film also has its flaws, but overall the film does live to the expectation. The film will make you question the ground reality of the system—the lives of spies in Idna,  agony, terrorism and its underwhelming aspects. So get ready to experience some goosebump moments in the film, as this movie will keep you engaged and leave an ever-lasting impact on the audience's mind.
