She Met Her Now Husband On Facebook

She recalled, “I saw Atul’s profile and thought, ‘Physicists are on Facebook too?’ He was working on the Large Hadron Collider. Since I have always been interested in science, I sent him a message asking, ‘What is LHC?'”

Their love grew naturally from science-related talks to a lifetime of commitment without even a proper hint of a proposal from Atul's side. It is also reported that she was initially unsure and discussed the situation with a close friend. She was somehow advised not to let go of the possibility without meeting him, even if she eventually decided against it.
