ABBA, the Swedish musical band, is preparing to release its first new album in over four decades. The band announced on Thursday that their 10-track album "Voyage" would be released in November. ABBA also revealed that the new album's first two songs, "I Still Have Faith In You" and "Don't Shut Me Down," are now available.

The band also planned a "revolutionary performance" in London on May 27, including the band members playing digitally as avatars. According to ABBA, the performance will use "state-of-the-art motion capture technology" created by George Lucas' special-effects studio Industrial Light & Music.

A new performance will also include the foursome — Agnetha Fältskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Benny Andersson, and Björn Ulvaeus — playing digitally as avatars, dubbed "ABBA-tars," with a real 10-piece band.

The performance, which will occur in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London on May 27, 2022, will be in a new stadium dubbed — ABBA Arena. The concert performance is described on the ABBA Voyage website as "combining the old and new, the young and not-so-young."

The statement on the website read: "Once again, thank you for your patience! We want to see you at the ABBA Arena, and yes — see — since we have injected a significant portion of our souls into those avatars. It is hardly an exaggeration to claim that we have returned.”

ABBA is widely regarded as one of the most famous music groups, with approximately 400 million records sold worldwide.
Thanks to the musical "Mamma Mia!" and related films starring Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stella Skarsgrd, and others, the group has enjoyed a rebirth in popularity in recent years.

This week, the band launched its own TikTok account. It has over 738,000 followers and 3.2 million likes as of Thursday.
