India suffered a 70-run defeat to Australia in the second One-Day International (ODI) at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Sunday, as it helped the hosts take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Nonetheless, it was still a happy day for an Indian supporter.

During the course of the match, a boy, who was an Indian supporter, approached an Australian woman, who was supposedly his girlfriend. He held the box of a wedding ring, as he went down on his knees to propose the girl.

As everyone was left anticipated, she nodded her head as a means to say 'yes'. The couple shared a hug, along with a kiss, as the SCG crowd cheered for the couple, which was followed by applause from Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell.

Match summary: Winning the toss, Finch once again elected to bat first. The openers, Warner and Finch, contributed to a 142-run opening stand, while five batsmen scored 50-plus. Smith, who top-scored with 104, helped the side post 389/4. In reply, India did manage to build partnerships, with skipper Virat Kohli top-scoring with 89. Nonetheless, the scoreboard pressure took a toll on them, as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals, thereby falling short by 51 runs.

India will now travel to Canberra on Wednesday to face off against the side in the final ODI. While this was India's fifth consecutive loss in the ODIs, they would aim to avoid a sixth. Also, they would be looking to avoid a consecutive whitewash, having lost 0-3 previously to New Zealand, earlier this year.
