Reigning president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Sourav Ganguly appears to be in a stable condition and is doing good in his health concerns. He is likely to be discharged from the Apollo Hospital in Kolkata following standard medical reports.

Last month, he had suffered a mild heart attack, and upon being diagnosed with triple vessel disease, he had undergone angioplasty. While he was under medical observation at home, fresh chest pains compelled him to get admitted in the hospital again.

Ganguly had a stent inserted into his coronary artery during the first angioplasty. Meanwhile, on Thursday, a couple of more stents were inserted, as he has been stable since then, while he has been kept under strict medical observation.

A few more medical examinations are being conducted upon the 48-year-old former Indian skipper. He is being treated by Dr Ashwin Mehta, along with renowned cardiologist, Dr Devi Shetty.
