As the star player of Delhi Capitals (DC), Rishabh Pant recovers from his Grade 1 hamstring injury, he is all set to rejoin the team and play against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on Tuesday. The wicketkeeper-batsman was inflicted with an injury during their clash against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) on October 9 in Sharjah.

Following his injury, he had to miss three games for the franchise, where Australian wicketkeeper Alex Cary was taken in as his replacement. However, Alex Cary has been unable to put up a show with the bat, unlike Pant. Pant was the second most leading run-scorer for DC when he was inflicted with the injury.

The news came in ahead of the DC clash with KXIP on Tuesday evening. The match will be held in Dubai, where the final call is expected before the toss on Tuesday, on whether the team will include him in the playing xo, or plans to rest him further on account of his injury.

DC are on a fiery form in this IPL season. As of now, they top the points table with 14 points.
