The playoffs of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) are up next week and the teams are to play their last few matches. As per the schedule, Match 49 of the season will see a clash between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in  Dubai.

Team Composition
The teams have tried different player combinations and are now playing with their most balanced sides. A comparison drawn will see KKR as slightly bowling heavy.

Head-to-head
A total of 21 games have been played between the two, as of now. CSK have won 13 matches, while KKR have managed to win the remaining eight matches. In their clash earlier this season, KKR had won by 10 runs in Abu Dhabi.

Current Form
CSK have been in one of their worst forms ever in the IPL history and have hit the rock bottom of the points table. KKR, who are at the fifth position currently, have tasted equal share of wins and losses in the tournament.

Weather and pitch report
The temperature will be as high as 34 degrees. As far as the pitch is concerned, it is quite unpredictable. A score above 160, with a few decent bowling spells, will give a tough fight in the match.

Probable 11
CSK: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis, Ambati Rayudu, N Jagadeesan, MS Dhoni (c & wk), Sam Curran, Ravindra Jadeja, Mitchell Santner, Deepak Chahar, Imran Tahir, Monu Kumar.
KKR: Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Eoin Morgan (c), Sunil Narine, Pat Cummins, Lockie Ferguson, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Prasidh Krishna, Varun Chakravarthy.

Dream 11 Prediction

Batsman: Shubman Gill (c), Ambati Rayudu (vc), Nitish Rana- Gill and Rayudu can get off to a decent start, while Rana can provide the middle over stability. Gill's rise in form and Rayudu reliable batting makes them the captain and vice-captain, respectively.
Allrounders: Sam Curran, Sunil Narine- The two all-rounders can smash the ball well and can do decent bowling as well. Curran has been in a fine form, while Narine, too, has been decent of late.
Wicketkeeper: MS Dhoni, Dinesh Karthik- The wicketkeeper-batsmen can take control of the batting and can provide the stability whenever required. While Dhoni can act as the finisher, Karthik can give stability to the middle-order.
Bowlers: Varun Chakravarthy, Deepak Chahar, Imran Tahir and Lockie Ferguson- Spinners Chakravarthy and Tahir can get the major breakthroughs, while pacers comprising Chahar and Ferguson can restrict the opposition to a low score. With the tracks slowing down, the spinners are likely to dominate.

Players to look out for
Ambati Rayudu: The middle-order batsman for CSK had a share of ups and downs in this season. Fans will look forward to a big performance from him.
Rahul Tripathi: The prolific hitter has often opened for KKR a couple of times. Of late, he has been unable to put a big performance, but can turn things around in this tie.
