The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is almost in its last leg. With playoffs up next, Match 48 is scheduled between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi.

Team Composition
Both the teams have balanced batting and bowling units. However, following the injury of their skipper Rohit Sharma, MI have weighed slightly less on the batting side.

Head-to-head
Of the 26 matches played between the two teams till now, MI have won 16 times, while RCB have managed to win 10 times. In their previous clash, earlier this season, the match ended in a tie and in the super over, RCB took the lead.

Current form
RCB, who stand third on the points table, have been consistent this season. Despite Rohit being out following his injury, MI have still managed to be on the top of the points table.

Weather and pitch report
The temperature in Abu Dhabi is likely to be around 31 degrees. Since the pitch has deteriorated and become quite slow, any score above 160 would be a competitive total.

Probable 11
MI: Quinton de Kock (WK), Saurabh Tiwary, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Kieron Pollard (C), Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Rahul Chahar, James Pattinson, Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah.
RCB: Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli (C), AB de Villiers (WK), Shivam Dube, Gurkeerat Singh, Isuru Udana, Chris Morris, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar and Umesh Yadav.

Dream 11 Prediction
Batsman: Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, Suryakumar Yadav- The opening between Padikkal and Finch can get the side to a good start. Yadav in the middle can provide middle-order stability.
Wicketkeepers: Quinton de Kock, AB de Villiers (c)- The two wicketkeeper-batsman can smash the ball and play well according to the situation. Both have been in a fine form of late, while de Villiers' form makes him the skipper of the side.
Allrounders: Kieron Pollard (vc), Chris Morris, Washington Sundar- The all-rounders can put up a show both with the bat and the ball. While Pollard's all-round performance makes him the vice-captain, Morris and Sundar would dominate with the ball.
Bowlers: Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal and Rahul Chahar- The wristy spinners, comprising Chahar and Chahal, can get the major breakthroughs, while pacer Bumrah can restrict the opposition to a low total, who has been in an escalating form of late.

Players to look out for
Aaron Finch: A decent contributor with the bat, he has been unable to put up a big individual total. In a few matches left, fans will look forward to his big performance.
Krunal Pandya: Even though MI is doing amazingly well and Krunal Pandya is contributing decently, fans are awaiting a fiery knock from him.
