Delhi Capitals (DC) have been in terrific form from the very start, while Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) have picked up pace after their initial losses.
Team Composition
DC have the most balanced team and wIll look forward to including Rishabh Pant at the earliest after recovering from his hamstring injury. KXIP, on the other hand, have come up stronger, ever since they have included Chris Gayle in their playing xi.

Of the total of 25 clashes that have happened between the two till now, Punjab have 14 wins, while Delhi have won 11 matches.
Current form
The young guns of DC were in a fiery form from the very start. Â KXIP, however, have picked up late and look confident now. In their previous clash that happened almost a month ago, on September 20, it ended in a tie followed by a Super-Over, where DC took the lead.

With no chances of precipitation, the temperature is likely to be as high as 35 degrees. The pitch in Dubai is quite slow. Hence, any total around 170 will be quite competitive.

Batsmen: Shikhar Dhawan (vc), Prithvi Shaw, Mayank Agarwal- Dhawan and Shaw can get off to a good start and Agarwal can smash the big hits in the middle. Dhawan prolific form of late makes him the captain.
All-rounders: Marcus Stoinis, Axar Patel- The all-rounders have a way with both the bat and the ball. They can manage to bowl decently and can strike with the willow when required.
Wicketkeeper: KL Rahul (c), Nicholas Pooran- The wicketkeeper-batsman can hammer the shots and can provide the momentum required whenever required. Rahul sublime form makes him the vice-captain.
Bowlers: Chris Jordan, Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Kagiso Rabada- The wristy Bishnoi can get the major breakthroughs, while the pacers can restrict the opposition to a low score.
Players to look out for
Axar Patel: The all-rounder for DC has been quite exceptional in the season, till now. Officials will be looking to his contribution in the subsequent matches ahead.
Glenn Maxwell: The Australian all-rounder has had a disappointing performance this season. There has been no big innings from him in the nine matches that the franchisee has played. However, he has made a good impact with the ball.
Alex Cary: The substitute for Rishabh Pant, Cary will soon have to perform with the bat, else his position will be skeptical in the team.
