When it comes to the cricketers, it is their cricketing talent which is applauded by fans. However, for some, it is not just cricket, but their skills in other areas that are praised by many.

Over the years, many cricketers have tried their hands in other areas of interests, like acting, singing and even dancing. In the same light, we take a look at a few cricketers, who tried their luck in dancing by participating in reality shows.

Vinod Kambli: The former Indian cricketer did not get enough chances to make a name for himself as a cricketer. However, he has tried numerous stuff outside cricketer to regain popularity. While he is famous for acting in a couple of movies, he also tried dancing by participating in Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, where he danced alongside Shama Sikander.

S Sreesanth: The discarded Indian pacer has taken up other interests, following his ban from cricket after alleged involvement in spot-fixing during the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, it all began prior to that, when he participated in Ek Haseena Ek Khiladi, as he danced beside Surveen Chopra. He later also took part in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Following his ban, he has acted in some Malayalam and Bollywood movies.

Krishnamachari Srikkanth: Now, this might sound really weird, but yes, the veteran Indian batsman participated in season six of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, while he was above 50 years of age. Before coming to the show, he had said, “I am completely zero when it comes to dancing. What is dance? It is just when you are in a good mood, you just start jiving to a rhythm… you start moving and your body starts shaking. That is what it is.” Fair to say, he was not that impressive, as he became the second contestant to be eliminated.

Irfan Pathan: The former Indian seamer, too, had his career cut short for numerous reasons. Nonetheless, just like others, he tried his hands in other areas, including dancing, as he participated in Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, while he danced with Ashima Bhalla. The latter happens to have acted in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Assamese movies.

Sanath Jayasuriya: Ahem! Yes, you read that right. The classic former Sri Lankan opener, too, tried his luck at it when he took part in season five of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He danced along with his partner Suchitra, while he also tried the moves next to renowned Bollywood actress and dancer, Madhuri Dixit. “The show is completely different from what I do in life, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. The contestants are talented and hard-working. The three wonderful judges [Madhuri, Karan Johar and Remo D’Souza] were really warm towards me, especially Madhuri,” he had said after the show.

Harbhajan Singh: The veteran Indian off-spinner is a man of many talents, as he has already tried his luck at singing, which was a hit. As for his dancing, he took part in Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, where he danced adjacent to Mona Singh, as their moves to the Nagaada Nagaada Baja song, from Bollywood movie Jab We Met, won them the title.
