BCCI's chief selector Sunil Joshi once hit a batsman hard on the pretext of fielding
The newly-appointed chief selector Sunil Joshi recalls his early days in JSS College, Bengaluru, and how he managed his cricket and studies. He admitted that he used hit his seniors hard with the ball on the pretext of fielding.
Bengaluru: Chief selector of Board Of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Sunil Joshi recalled his early days in JSS College, Bengaluru.
Joshi revealed that he missed classes due to cricket, but would manage to attend just the last two hours in college. He confessed that he attended college only to play carrom board with batchmates.
BCCI’s chief selector said his selection as the captain in the college cricket team had enraged many seniors. He said that he would give it back to them by hitting them hard with the cricket ball on the pretext of fielding.
