How to worship Hanumanji and which mantra to chant?
- On Thursday, April 2, wake up early, bathe, and take a vow (sankalp) to perform Hanumanji's puja. If you plan to fast, take a vow for that as well.
- Before the auspicious time begins, gather all the puja items in one place. When the muhurat starts, place a wooden stool or 'patia' in a clean area of your home.
- Spread a white cloth on this stool and place an idol or picture of Hanumanji. Apply a tilak on the picture and then offer a flower garland. Light a lamp with pure ghee.
- Next, offer abir, gulal, roli, sindoor, janeu (sacred thread), kalava, paan (betel leaf), and red cloth, one by one. Offer bhog (food offering) to Hanumanji according to your wish.
- During the puja, keep chanting the mantra 'Om Ham Hanumate Namah' in your mind. After the puja, the entire family should perform the aarti together.
- After the aarti, if possible, chant the 'Om Ham Hanumate Namah' mantra at least 108 times using a Rudraksha mala. With Hanumanji's blessings, all your wishes may come true.
