In fact, visiting a vineyard is one of the most loved ideas of a vacation for all those ‘tipsy trips’ with your gang of friends. Sula Vineyards: India’s one of the best and most popular wineries, Sula Vineyards is on the list of every wine lover ever! Sula’s wines reportedly hold a share of more than 65 per cent of the wine market in India. If at the vineyard, do not miss out on taking a tour and tasting session wherein you get to try multiple Sula wines. The vineyard is situated on the outskirts of Nasik in Maharashtra.
Chandon India: The only winery situated in Madhya Pradesh, Chandon India has its very own 21-acre vineyard in the Dindori district, close to Nasik, Maharashtra. This place is a paradise for all sparkling wine lovers. The global wine brand is famous for it Brut and Rose wines. Though it is situated in MP, the vineyard is a 45-minute drive from Nasik.
York Winery: Another vineyard situated on the outskirts of Nasik, and not too far from Sula Vineyards, is York Winery. Head out for a sunset tasting session and tour of the winery. And when at the property, do not forget to try out Chardonnay as York is one of the few wineries in India that produces it.
Grover Zampa Vineyards: One of the oldest winemakers in India, Grover Zampa Vineyards is an absolute paradise for all wine lovers. The vineyard is situated near Bengaluru in Karnataka. The 410-acre property comprising extensive wine trails and a barrel room is famous for its award-winning La Reserve brand of oak matured Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz reds.
Kinvah Vineyards: Situated closer to Bengaluru, in comparison to Grover Zampa Vineyards, Kinvah Vineyards or the Nandi Valley Winery has been set up well for the purpose of wine tourism.
