Kolkata, Howrah, and Hooghly will see completely cloudy skies from the morning. The cities will get spells of moderate to heavy rain with thunderstorms all day. Some low-lying areas might face temporary waterlogging.

The city's temperature will stay between 27°C and 28°C. With humidity levels expected to be as high as 91% to 94%, the weather will feel quite uncomfortable.
Along with the rain, Kolkata could face gusty winds blowing at 60 to 65 km/h. The weather office has also given red and orange alerts for very heavy rain in other districts of South Bengal.
