As the world saw another double suicide bombing near Kabul airport, which killed 13 US soldiers and 72 Afghans, US President Joe Biden addressed the media, vowing to strike against the culprits. Biden delivered his statement from the White House, paying respect to the dead soldiers and emphasising the need of continuing the evacuation plan from Kabul until US forces are entirely evacuated as scheduled by August 31.
During his news conference, a photograph of the Democratic President with his head bowed down in a solemn expression went viral on social media. While some commended him for confronting a situation front on and demonstrating sensitivity, others were less impressed.

US President Joe Biden stated that terrorism will not discourage his country and pledged to track out the perpetrators and hold them accountable for the horrific assaults. In response to Thursday's horrific incident, Biden stated that despite the tremendous threats, the US had evacuated over 100,000 individuals from Afghanistan in the previous several days."We can and must accomplish our job," Biden declared, adding, "Terrorists will not discourage us. We will carry forward with the evacuation."
