In a lengthy Instagram post supporting the ban, the French aerospace engineer stated that this renowned city's 'unsung heroes' are the 'thick wooden planks.Â
"Most of us know Venice for its aquatic canals, bridges, and melodious gondoliers, but the unsung heroes of Venice are really substantial timber structures."
The 43-year-old discussed the city's present issues, which include climate change and human migration, among others.
