Four from Brazilian President Bolsonaro's inner circle test COVID positive
Pedro Guimaraes, a member of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro's delegation to the United Nations, who shared the news on one of his social media pages, stated that he tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
Several members of the Brazilian delegation that accompanied Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) have tested positive for Covid-19. The Brazilian President, who has consistently refused to be vaccinated, went and spoke as the first speaker at the UNGA when it convened last week.
Pedro Guimaraes, a member of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro's delegation to the United Nations, who shared the news on one of his social media pages, stated that he tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday. Guimaraes, who said he was vaccinated correctly, is the fourth entourage member that accompanied Bolsonaro to New York for his UN presentation to test positive.

Marcelo Queiroga, the health minister, tested positive for the virus 24 hours after visiting a maskless Boris Johnson in New York. The minister was seen in close quarters with Johnson and Liz Truss, the British Foreign Secretary.
Eduardo Bolsonaro, Bolsonaro's son, and Agriculture Minister Tereza Cristina have both tested positive for coronavirus. Cristina is Bolsonaro's second cabinet member to be diagnosed with COVID-19.
The President announced on Sunday that he got a negative COVID-19 test result. Since they arrived in Brazil, all members of Bolsonaro's team have been isolated and subjected to testing as a result of their interactions with the health minister.

For unaware, unvaccinated heads of state attending the United Nations General Assembly had settle for a slice of pizza on the pavement rather than gourmet dining in New York.
That is how Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro dined on his first night in New York, where no one is permitted into the city's eateries unless they have evidence of COVID-19 immunisation.
The far-right populist is a vaccine sceptic who has boasted about not getting vaccinated, claiming that his immune system is strong enough to fight the coronavirus before leaving for New York.
