Karachi: Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his wife Zubeena Zareen have tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19), according to reports on Friday (June 5), quoting top government sources in Pakistan.
As the news broke, all his staff and personal attendants have been quarantined, reports said.
Pakistan government sources said Dawood and his wife are undergoing treatment at the Karachi military hospital.
The mastermind behind Mumbai 1993 blasts is one of the most wanted terrorists in India. Hailing from Dongri in Mumbai, Dawood was rumoured to have been living in Pakistan although the government has denied any knowledge about his whereabouts in the country.
He is also a wanted criminal in many cases including murder, extortion, targeted killing, drug trafficking.
