WWE superstar Triple H in Mumbai December tour announcement soon

India is probably the biggest market for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Indian fans are the most passionate of the lot. And with an Indian-origin wrestler as the WWE Champion more Indians are tuning in to watch the pro-wrestlers battle it out in the squared ring.

Rumour was that WWE is all set to host two shows in New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on December 8 and 9. The news has now been confirmed by The Wrestling Observer. To further cement the news, Triple H, WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative, landed in Mumbai on Tuesday, October 3, evening and will probably make an official announcement.

Triple H took to twitter to talk about his love for India and why he is so excited to be in the country. “Landed in Mumbai and was warmly greeted. A beautiful country with wonderful cultures, excited for my visit.” wrote Triple H.

The Wrestling Observer also reported that the shows will be two RAW brand house shows which will feature RAW superstars Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, The Miz, Sasha Banks and Bayley. The show will also feature WWE Champion Jinder Mahal from SmackDown Live.

This is big news for the fans of the pro-wrestling that had last seen the superstars in action live in 2016 when WWE hosted live shows in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The 2016 event had come after a gap of almost 14 years. RAW had toured India back in 2002.
