Conte and his Band of Boys have notched up 12 victories in 12 games. This is simply threatening. Chelsea are 7 points ahead of second-placed Manchester City, 9 ahead of Liverpool and 13 ahead of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
The players have been in top form especially Diego Costa and Eden Hazard. The deadly duo has already scored 22 goals this season and they are hungry for more. It will require a herculean effort to stop Conte’s Chelsea and it will be interesting to see which side ends Chelsea’s dream run.
Chelsea’s current show of defiance has been instilling fear in the minds of the opponents and it is likely to stay for a while unless and until a side puts a stop to this run.
