Watch: Football's worst miss of the millennium

FollowThe game of football has been one of the most popular sports around the world but one may not have seen a miss of this sort ever. Big daddy's of the game have also missed sitters but they were never close to this one.Â
Serbia's fourth division footballer snatched the ball inside the penalty area after getting past one of the defenders of the opponent and the goalkeeper. Then he had a clear goal to finish it with ample amount of time and no other defenders in the horizon. Guess what, he skied the ball from in front of the empty goal.
It takes a special effort to miss a goal from there and no prize for guessing, his teammates were in distress for quite some time. The footballer might have been asked to retire as well as the video of him missing the goal went viral.
