Du Plessis, who has been accused of ball tampering during the second Test against Australia in Perth has been having a bad time with all sorts of questions being thrown at him.
The incident happened at Adelaide airport when the visitors' team arrived for the third Test. While the Nine Network reporter Will Crouch tried to question du Plessis regarding the ball tampering issue, Wadee physically handled the journalist.
The security guard first knocked the reporter's microphone with his shoulders before shoving Crouch to the glass door as du Plessis left the building smiling.
The Proteas cricketer, who is facing a one-Test ban, is yet to comment on the controversy.
Although the ICC has allegedly accused him of the offence, he is still expected to play in the day-night Test in Adelaide. The hearing which has been scheduled to take place on Tuesday seems unlikely to happen because the tourists’ legal representative hasn't yet arrived from South Africa.
The same heavy-handed security guard was earlier seen clashing with a Melbourne journalist outside the team hotel.
The third Test between Australia and South Africa is set to begin on Thursday. The visitors having won the first two Tests of the three-Test series have already sealed the series.
