Sehwag never forgets! Settles old scores with 'double duck' Anderson
- Anderson was dismissed for a duck in both the innings and thus completed a king pair.
- The list of players who have done so also includes Sehwag.
- After the match, Sehwag in his own style trolled Jimmy for the unwanted record.
Anderson has broken a forgettable bizarre 110-year-old record. He completed a king pair during the second Test between India and England in Vizag, that ended on Monday.
Â
When a batsman is dismissed for a duck in both the innings of a Test, he is known to finish a king pair. Anderson was trapped leg before wicket on both the occasions off Ashwin and Jayant Yadav's bowling respectively.

Jimmy Anderson made me pay tribute to Aryabhatta by getting me out for a King pair in 2011. Today,he too got a King pair.#KarmaBites 😀

The Test players who have made it to the list of king pair also include the former Indian opener, Sehwag.
Â
In India's tour of England 2011 when Sehwag entered the 'unwanted' record book. During the third Test at Birmingham, after Stuart Broad had dismissed Sehwag for a duck, it was Anderson who removed the batsman in the second innings before the Indian could get off the mark.
Â
The North (Sehwag) remembers! :D
Â
Moreover, in the 110 times Anderson has walked to bat for England in the whites, he was dismissed with 0 beside his name on 21 occasions - the most by an English cricketer.
Â
He is one of just six Test players to register a king pair this century and one of 16 in the history of the game.
